WIBL Lampshade

An exploration of the creation of 3D forms from straight strips of material resulting led to this series of sculptural lampshades. I developed a simulation to work out where to position the connections between the strips to make them buckle to follow a given shape. I plan to develop this into a more comprehensive construction system.
